You can serve this dish with garlic noodles or Parmesan spaghetti, among other simple vegetable side dishes.
Here are the ingredients:
- 1 Dungeness crab, approximately 2 pounds
- 6 tablespoons of unsalted butter in room temperature
- 1 tablespoon of black peppercorns
- Half a teaspoon of salt
- Lemon wedges
These are the instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Use the flat side of your knife to press down your black peppercorns, chopping them roughly after.
- Heat your butter in a microwave, adding your chopped black pepper and salt afterward. Mix this well.

- 2 cups of water
- ½ cup of evaporated milk
- 5 baby bok choy, cut lengthwise and halved
- 1 tablespoon of rice whine
- White pepper
- ½ tablespoon of fish sauce or salt for taste
- 1 stalk of scallion, cut into 1-inch lengths
Follow these instructions:
- Boil the rice noodles according to the instructions, until it is al dente. Rinse the noodles using cold water, removing the starch. Your noodles need to be smooth and clean from any starch after you rinsed and drained it. Set this aside.
- Prepare a pot and add butter and ginger, sautéing until it is aromatic and slightly brown. Add your chicken broth and water, bringing the soup to a boil, then adding the evaporated milk and crab.
- Cook this for a few minutes or until your crab is red and cooked. Then, add the rest of the ingredients, including the noodles. Bring the noodle soup to a quick boil, then serve.
